The Conversation's at Panera WDM
If you strolled by the cafe's of Paris, like Le Closerie des Lilas, back in the 1920s you might have seen Hemingway, Picasso, Trotsky, Gertrude Stein or F. Scott Fitzgerald. Walk into the "Bird and the Baby" pub near Oxford a few years later and you could have seen C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkein sharing a pint with their fellow Inklings. I guess great people like to get together.
So what's going on at the Panera in West Des Moines?
Stroll in for a bagel and free wi-fi. It's like a blogger's convention. Any given morning you might run into blogging sensei Mike Sansone or branding guru Michael Wagner. You might see brand warrior Mark True or bloglings like business communicator Sandy Renshaw, professor/publisher Delaney Kirk, strategist Jeff Bradford or venture capitalist Adam Steen.
Let me know when you're in Des Moines and I'll buy you a cup o' joe and a bagel. Heck, maybe you should plan a bloggers getaway and spend a few mornings being a part of the face-to-face conversation :)

Maybe someday there will be tourists who will point and say, "that's where it happened - that's where they all met for a bagel - and the world was never the same!" :)
